This week we are in Victoria BC visiting The Butchart Gardens. This is Celeste's "most favorite place in the world." It truly is beautiful even if we are a bit early in the blooming season for many flowers. We have enjoyed going in and out of the Gardens each day and will do so again today.
I rented a bike for 3 days so I have enjoyed cycling through Historic Victoria as well as the outlying countryside. The lush green grass, giant trees, soft rain (Wednesday only), great trail system, Starbucks...have been great. This morning I rode along the water to Sidney BC. Sidney is a quaint little town that is home to the Sidney to Anacortes Ferry Landing. I will reflect on the Ferry Crossing in my next post. Well, it's time to ride so we can go into the Gardens.
